About this product
The Beaver Yellow Pin Grade S Safety Pin Dee Shackle 2t is a galvanised dee shackle with a bolt, nut and cotter pin, built for lifting connections you intend to leave in place. At 13mm body with a 16mm pin, it carries a 2t working load limit and weighs 0.44kg, so it is an easy size to handle on rigging gear that gets made up once and stays assembled. Inside width is 21mm, inside length 41mm, and the diameter boss measures 33mm. Complies to AS 2741.
The safety pin lets the pin rotate under load, which makes this one the pick where a load may slide on the pin or where gear vibrates in service. Hot dipped galvanised body with the yellow painted pin for quick identification on site. Grade S gives good strength for the size, and the dee shape keeps the load in line rather than spread across the bow. Check the pin threads and cotter before each lift.
