About this product
The Beaver Yellow Pin Grade S Screw Pin Dee Shackle 6.5t is a straight-line lifting connector for slings, chains and hooks where the load pulls in one direction. This size runs a 22mm body with a 25mm pin, giving a 6.5t working load limit in a shackle that still fits the hand. Inside width is 37mm and inside length 71mm, so it takes a decent eye or thimble without crowding.
Grade S steel gives high strength for the size, which is why these turn up on mine sites, construction jobs, towing work and 4WD recovery. The body is hot dipped galvanised and the pin is painted yellow, making it easy to pick out of a shackle bin and easy to spot a swapped pin. Diameter boss measures 54mm. Complies to AS 2741. Check the pin seats fully and hand tight before every lift.
