About this product
The Beaver Yellow Pin Grade S Screw Pin Dee Shackle 4.7t is a straight-line lifting connector for slings, chain and hardware where you want a single in-line pull rather than a spread. This size runs a 19mm body with a 22mm pin, 32mm inside width and 60mm inside length, so it takes a decent thimble or master link without crowding the bow. The 48mm diameter boss gives the pin plenty of bearing. Rated at 4.7t working load limit.
Grade S steel is where the strength to size ratio comes from, which is why these turn up on mine sites, construction jobs, towing work and 4WD recovery. The body is hot dipped galvanised and the pin is painted yellow, so it stays easy to pick out of a shackle bin. Complies to AS 2741. Check the pin threads fully home and the shoulder seats before every lift.
