The Beaver Hot Dipped Galvanised Screw Pin Dee Shackle in 1.5t is a straight-sided lifting shackle for in-line loads, sitting in the middle of the range where a 1t shackle is light on and a larger body starts getting clumsy in the hand. The body measures 11mm with a 13mm screw pin, giving an 18mm inside width and 37mm inside length for connecting slings, chain and hardware.
Grade S steel gives good strength for the size, and the hot dipped galvanised finish with its yellow painted pin holds up in the weather on mine sites and construction jobs. The 27mm boss carries the stamped rating, so crews can check it during pre-use inspection. Complies to AS 2741. Keep the pin fully seated and shoulder to shoulder before taking load, and pull in line with the body, not across the sides.
