The Beaver Grade M Dee Shackle - Galvanised 5t is a rated screw pin shackle for straight in line lifting and rigging connections. At 29mm x 32mm with a 5t working load limit, this is the mid size in the range, a common pick where a 3.25t body is getting worked too hard but a bigger shackle will not sit right in the eye. Inside width is 54mm and inside length 105mm, with a 32mm pin and 63mm diameter boss.
Body is Grade 40 alloy steel with a galvanised finish for better corrosion resistance, so it holds up in commercial fishing and marine work as well as general site lifting. The screw collar pin makes it quick to pull apart and reuse. Grade, WLL, manufacture date and body ID are stamped into each shackle for traceability, and it complies to AS 2741.
