The Beaver Grade M Dee Shackle - Galvanised 3.8t is a rated screw pin shackle for connecting slings, chain and hardware on straight in line pulls. This size runs a 25mm body with a 29mm pin, giving a 3.8t working load limit at 2.14kg. Inside width is 51mm and inside length 95mm, with a 57mm diameter boss, so it takes a decent eye or hook without crowding the pin.
Made from Grade 40 alloy steel and galvanised for better corrosion resistance, which is why these turn up on fishing boats and marine work as often as they do on site. The screw collar pin makes it quick to pin up and pull apart. Grade, WLL, manufacture date and body ID are stamped on each shackle for traceability. Complies to AS 2741.
