The Beaver Grade M Dee Shackle - Galvanised 1.5t is a rated screw pin shackle for straight in-line lifting and rigging connections. This is the 16mm x 19mm size in the range, carrying a 1.5t working load limit with a 19mm pin and a 38mm diameter boss. Inside width is 32mm and inside length 63mm, so it takes a modest eye or a smaller sling fitting without slop. At 0.61kg it is easy to handle all day.
Engineered from Grade 40 alloy steel and galvanised for better corrosion resistance, it holds up in commercial fishing and marine work as well as general lifting. The screw collar pin lets you make up and break down connections by hand. Each shackle is stamped with grade, WLL, manufacture date and body ID for traceability, and complies to AS 2741. The dee shape is made for loading along its length, not for multi-leg side pulls.
