The Beaver Grade M Dee Shackle - Galvanised 0.5t is the smallest rated dee in the range, built for light lifting and marine work where a bigger shackle is just dead weight. Body diameter is 10mm with a 13mm screw collar pin, giving a 19mm inside width and 38mm inside length. At 0.16kg it sits easily in a tool belt or a deck locker.
Made from Grade 40 alloy steel and galvanised for better corrosion resistance, so it holds up around salt water and weather. The diameter boss measures 25mm. Grade, working load limit, manufacture date and body ID are stamped into each shackle, so you can trace it and check it at inspection time. Complies to AS 2741. Common jobs include commercial fishing, rigging on boats and small lifting tasks where the load stays within the 0.5t WLL.
