About this product
Beaver Grade 80 (T) Self Coloured B-Alloy Lifting Chain in 16mm is heavy lift chain for slings and crane work where an 8t working load limit is needed. It is the larger end of the Beaver Grade 80 range, made from heat treated alloy steel and left in a self colour finish. Pitch is 48mm, with an outside width of 59.2mm across the link. At 18m per 100kg, it carries serious capacity for its weight.
Chain is stamped every 50cm along its length, so identification and inspection are straightforward once it is in service. Markings follow Australian standards and the chain complies to AS 2321, with quality testing carried out through manufacture. Suited to mine site, construction and workshop lifting where loads are large and the gear cops regular use. Keep an eye on link wear and stretch at the pitch, and pull it from service if anything looks off.
