About this product
Beaver Grade 80 (T) Self Coloured B-Alloy Lifting Chain in 13mm is heavy lift chain for sling assemblies and chain slings, rated to a 5.3t working load limit. The step up from the smaller sizes in the range, it suits crane work and mine site lifts where the load is well past what 10mm chain will carry. Made from heat treated alloy steel, with a self colour finish and a pitch of 39mm, outside width 48.1mm.
At 26m per 100kg it stays manageable to handle and shorten on the hook for a chain of this capacity. Markings are stamped at 500mm intervals along the full length, so identifying the chain and checking it during inspection is straightforward. Quality testing is carried out through manufacture and the chain complies to AS 2321. Keep it out of standing moisture, as self colour chain has no protective coating.
