About this product
The Beaver Grade L Galvanised Short Link Chain 20mm is a tested commercial chain for moorings, anchor chain and general marine restraint work. It is the heaviest pull in this range, with a 20mm nominal size and a working load limit of 4.03t, so it suits jobs where the smaller sizes are working too close to their limit. Link geometry runs 68.5mm outside length and 59.2mm inside, on 20mm material.
Made from Grade 30 low carbon steel and complies with the requirements of AS 2321. The galvanised finish is there to slow down rust in wet and salty conditions, which is where this chain spends most of its life. At 11.1m/100kg it is a solid, heavy chain to handle. Note it is not recommended for lifting, so keep it off the hook and use a rated lifting chain for overhead work.
