About this product
Beaver Grade L Galvanised Short Link Chain 13mm is a tested commercial chain for mooring, anchor and general marine restraint work, not for lifting. The 13mm bar diameter is the heavy end of the Grade L range, carrying a working load limit of 1.7t where the smaller sizes fall short. Link geometry runs 44.6mm outside length on an internal width of 38.8mm, which keeps the chain tight through fairleads and gypsies sized for short link.
Made from Grade 30 low carbon steel and manufactured to comply with AS 2321, with a galvanised finish to hold off salt water and weather. Weight works out around 26.3m/100kg, so plan your handling and deck gear accordingly. If you need chain for slinging or overhead lifting, step up to an alloy grade instead. This one is built for the anchor locker.
