About this product
Beaver Grade L Galvanised Short Link Chain 10mm is a tested commercial chain for mooring, anchor and general marine restraint work, with a 1t working load limit. It is made from Grade 30 low carbon steel and complies with the requirements of AS 2321. This is not a lifting chain, so keep it off the hook and use graded lifting chain for any load being raised.
The 10mm size sits in the middle of the range and suits jobs where 8mm feels light but the weight of heavier chain is a nuisance. Link dimensions are 34.3mm outside length and 29.8mm outside width on 10mm bar, and it runs 43.9m per 100kg. The galvanised finish gives it a fair go against salt water and weather when it is sitting in the wet.
