About this product
The Beaver Grade L Self Colour Short Link Chain 10mm is a tested commercial chain for mooring lines, anchor chain and general marine restraint work. It is not recommended for lifting. Made from Grade 30 low carbon steel, it complies with the requirements of AS 2321 and carries a working load limit of 1t. The 10mm nominal size is the heavier of the two in the range, so it suits jobs where the lighter option is working too close to its limit.
Link geometry runs 34.3mm outside length and 29.8mm inside width, with a 10mm material diameter, giving the short pitch that feeds cleanly through gypsies and windlass pockets. The self colour finish leaves the steel bare, so keep it rinsed and oiled if it is living in salt water. Figure on roughly 45m per 100kg when you are working out what a run will weigh on the deck or in the ute.
