About this product
The Beaver Grade L Self Colour Short Link Chain 6mm is a tested commercial chain for mooring, anchor and general marine restraint work. It is not recommended for lifting. This 6mm size is the lighter option in the range, with a working load limit of 0.40t, or 400kg, and roughly 116.3m per 100kg, so it stays easy to handle on smaller boats and fixed moorings.
Made from Grade 30 low carbon steel in a self colour finish, it complies with the requirements of AS 2321. Link dimensions run 6.3mm material thickness with a 21.6mm pitch and 18.8mm inside width, keeping the links tight and less prone to fouling as they run through a roller or fairlead. Check for wear and elongation at the link welds before each season.
