The Beaver Trailer Safety Chain 10mm x Galvanised is a towing safety chain for coupling trailers and other towed gear to the tow vehicle. This is the 10mm nominal size, designated 2.5t, and it suits trailers up to 3.5t. It is designed in accordance with AS/NZS 4177.4. Link geometry runs 39mm inside length, 53.1mm outside width and 9.5mm material thickness, with the chain weighing in around 59.7m/100kg.
The galvanised finish handles the knocks and weather that come with a drawbar, coastal runs, wash-downs and sitting out in the yard between jobs. Step up from the lighter sizes in the Beaver range when your trailer and load sit toward the heavier end. One thing to be clear on, this is a safety chain only.
