About this product
The Beaver G80 Yellow Paint B-Alloy Fishing Line Chain 11mm is a long link alloy chain built for commercial fishing work, not lifting. At 11mm nominal size it carries a working load limit of 3.9t, with a 40mm inside width and 64mm pitch on the link. The long link geometry gives it the reach and flexibility that fishing gear needs where a standard short link chain would bind.
Yellow paint does two jobs here. It slows corrosion in salt water and keeps the chain easy to pick out on a busy deck. Weight works out at 47.62m/100kg, so you can gauge what a given run will add to the boat. Keep in mind this chain is not rated for overhead or general lifting, so put a proper lifting chain on those jobs.
