About this product
The Beaver Galvanised Proof Coil Chain - Long Link 10mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose jobs around the yard, the site or the farm. It is made from low carbon steel with a galvanised finish, so it handles knocking about outdoors better than bare steel. The 10mm size uses 10mm material with a 49mm inside link length and 38mm across the link, giving you about 50.2m per 100kg.
Long link means fewer, longer links over the same run, which suits fencing, gate work, securing and restraint where you want the chain to feed and hook easily. Being the 10mm, it is the heavier end of the range and a good pick when the smaller sizes feel too light for the job. One thing to be clear on, proof coil chain is not rated and must never be used for lifting.
