About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Long Link in 5mm hot dipped galvanised is a non-rated general purpose chain for fencing, gates, barriers and light restraint work. It is not for lifting. Made from low carbon steel with consistent link geometry along the length, this is the lightest size in the range, with a 5mm material diameter, 21.8mm inside link length and 29.3mm outside link length. You get roughly 52m for every 25kg, so it goes a long way on site.
The long link pattern leaves plenty of clearance for hooks, shackles and padlocks, and the open links shed mud and grit better than short link chain. Hot dipped galvanising gives it a thick zinc coat that handles outdoor exposure and coastal air far better than bright steel. If your job needs a rated lifting chain, step across to a grade rated product instead.
