About this product
The Beaver Galvanised Proof Coil Chain - Long Link 5mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose jobs around the yard, site or workshop. It is the lightest size in the long link range, running 206m per 100kg, so it is the one to reach for when you want something easy to handle and not a heavy drag. Link geometry is 29.3mm long by 21.8mm wide on 5mm material.
Made from low carbon steel with a galvanised finish, it stands up to weather and damp better than bare chain. The long link pattern gives more open spacing between links, handy for gates, fencing, barriers and tie downs. Being a non-rated chain, it must not be used for lifting. "Proof coil" simply refers to the consistent link count through any given length.
