About this product
The Beaver Galvanised Proof Coil Chain - Long Link 4mm is a general purpose commercial chain for restraint, fencing, gates and light securing work around the yard or site. It is made from low carbon steel with a galvanised finish, and it is a non-rated chain, so it is not suitable for lifting. The 4mm figure is the material thickness, with a link length of 25.4mm and an outside width of 18.6mm.
This is the lightest size in the long link range, running 318m per 100kg, so it handles easily and suits jobs where a heavier chain would be overkill. The long link pattern gives longer, more open links than short link chain, which makes it easier to hook onto and quicker to thread through eyes and brackets. If the job involves lifting a load, step up to a properly rated grade chain instead.
