About this product
The Beaver Electro Galvanised Proof Coil Chain - Long Link 5mm is a general purpose commercial chain for restraint, fencing, gates, barriers and light tie-down work. It is a non-rated chain made from low carbon steel, so it is not suitable for lifting. At 5mm it is the lightest of the three sizes in the range, running 206m per 100kg, which makes it easy to handle and cut to the job.
The long link profile measures 21.8mm inside and 29.3mm outside, giving plenty of room for hooks, shackles, padlocks and pins to pass through. The electro galvanised finish keeps surface rust down in dry and sheltered conditions. If you need something for a load under a crane hook, step up to a rated grade chain instead.
