About this product
The Beaver Self Colour Proof Coil Chain - Long Link 6mm is a general purpose commercial chain for restraint, fencing, gates and light tie-down work. It is a non-rated chain made from low carbon steel, so it is not to be used for lifting. The 6mm is the lightest size in the long link range, running about 135m per 100kg, which makes it easy to handle and quick to cut to the job.
Link dimensions are 34.5mm outside length and 26.1mm inside, with 6.3mm material through the link. The longer link means it feeds over hooks and through hasps more freely than short link chain of the same size. The finish is self colour, so no coating, and it will surface rust outdoors unless you oil or paint it. Proof coil refers to consistent link form along the length.
