The Honeywell X-treme Wall Dispenser Refill keeps a shared earplug station stocked for crews working in high noise. These are single use disposable earplugs with an SLC80 rating of 26dB, Class 5, suited to any noise environment from 105dB through to less than 110dB. They are tested to AS/NZS 1270:2002. The smooth tapered shape goes in easily and comes out just as cleanly at the end of a shift.
The bright colour makes it obvious at a glance who has plugs fitted, which helps supervisors keep compliance tidy on site. Refilling a wall or bench top dispenser means the whole work area draws from one point instead of chasing loose packets around the crib room.
