Beaver Galvanised Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 8mm is a non-rated general purpose chain for restraint, fencing, gates, barriers and tie-back work where no load rating is needed. It is not suitable for lifting. The 8mm nominal size runs a 7.6mm material thickness, with link dimensions of 29.2mm and 35.8mm, putting it in the middle of the regular link range for jobs that need a bit more bulk than the lighter sizes without the weight of 10mm and up.
Made from low carbon steel with a hot dipped galvanised finish, so it handles outdoor and washdown areas better than bare steel. The term proof coil refers to the consistent link count through a length, which keeps the chain running evenly through gates, hooks and sprocketed fittings. At 86m per 100kg it is still easy enough to handle and cut to length on site.
