About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Regular Link in 6mm galvanised is general purpose commercial chain for restraint, fencing, gates and light tie-down work. It is non-rated, made from low carbon steel, and it is not to be used for lifting of any kind. The 6mm size sits at the lighter end of the range, with a 6mm bar diameter, 24mm inside link length and 27mm outside link width, so it feeds through smaller shackles and gate hardware than the heavier sizes.
The galvanised finish gives it a fair go outdoors, on yard gates, trailers and site fencing where bare steel would rust off quickly. Regular link means shorter, tighter links than the long link version, which suits sprockets, guides and tight radius runs. If the job involves overhead loads or any rigging, step up to a properly rated grade lifting chain instead.
