About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Regular Link (25kg Pail) 5mm is a galvanised general purpose commercial chain for tie-downs, gates, fencing and light restraint jobs around the yard or site. It is non-rated, made from low carbon steel, and it is not suitable for lifting. The 5mm nominal size is the lightest link in the range, with 4.7mm material thickness, an 18mm inside link width and a 25mm link length.
The term proof coil refers to the consistent number of links in any given length, so the chain runs true and feeds neatly through gates and anchor points. The galvanised finish helps it handle outdoor exposure. If your task involves overhead lifting or slinging a load, step up to a rated grade chain instead. This one is for the everyday holding and securing work.
