The Beaver Galvanised Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 5mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, site or workshop. It is not for lifting. Made from low carbon steel with a hot dipped galvanised finish, it handles damp conditions better than bare steel. The 5mm nominal size runs a 4.7mm material thickness, 18mm inside link width and 25mm link length.
At 230m per 100kg, this is one of the lighter sizes in the range, so it is easy to handle for fencing, gate and barrier work, securing covers or hanging signage. "Proof coil" simply describes the consistent link count through any given length. If the job involves overhead lifting or slinging a load, step up to a rated grade chain instead.
