About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Regular Link in 4mm galvanised is a light general purpose chain for tie-down, fencing, gates, barrier work and similar jobs around the yard or site. It is non-rated chain made from low carbon steel, so it carries no working load limit and is not to be used for any lifting application. The galvanised finish gives it a bit of protection against the weather, which suits outdoor and exposed use.
At 4mm nominal size the link measures 15.6mm inside length with a 20mm outside length and 3.9mm material thickness, making it one of the finer sizes in the range. That works out to roughly 175m of chain for every 50kg, so it is easy to handle and cut to what you need. The term proof coil refers to the consistent link count through the length, which keeps the chain running true through hooks and fittings.
