About this product
The Beaver Galvanised Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 4mm is a light general purpose chain for restraint, fencing, gates and tie-back work where no lifting is involved. It is the smallest end of the regular link range, with a 3.9mm material size, 15.6mm inside link length and 20mm outside width, so it runs easily through small shackles and eye bolts. At 321m/100kg it is light in the hand and easy to cut and fit on site.
Made from low carbon steel with a hot dipped galvanised finish, it handles outdoor exposure better than bare steel. Worth being clear on one point: this is a non-rated chain. It carries no working load limit and must not be used for lifting or overhead work. If you need to pick up a load, step across to a graded lifting chain. For everything else around the yard, the 4mm regular link does the job.
