About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Regular Link in 3mm galvanised is light general purpose chain for tie-downs, gates, fencing and barrier work. This is the smallest end of the range, with a 3mm nominal wire size, 13.1mm inside link length and 16.6mm outside width, so it feeds through small shackles and eyelets that heavier chain will not take. At 250m per 50kg, it is the longest running size in the family.
Made from low carbon steel with a galvanised finish for general outdoor exposure. Note that proof coil chain is non-rated, and the name refers to the consistent link count along a length rather than any load rating. It is not suitable for lifting, slinging or any overhead work. Keep it for restraint and utility jobs, and use a rated lifting chain where a load is going in the air.
