About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Regular Link in 3mm is the lightest gauge in this range, a galvanised general purpose chain for tie-downs, gates, fencing and light restraint work. The 3mm wire size gives links measuring 13.1mm long by 16.6mm across the outside, so it runs through small gaps and hardware that heavier chain will not fit. Made from low carbon steel with a galvanised finish to slow down surface rust on outdoor jobs.
"Proof coil" refers to the consistent link count through any given length, which keeps the chain uniform when you cut and reuse it. This is a non-rated commercial chain, so it has no working load limit and must not be used for lifting. Keep it for the everyday securing and hanging jobs around the yard, site or shed, and use a rated grade chain when a load is going in the air.
