About this product
The Beaver Self Colour Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 24mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose jobs around the yard, site or workshop. At 24mm nominal size it is the heavy end of the regular link range, running roughly 8m per 100kg, so it carries real weight for its length. Link dimensions are 85mm at F, 90mm at R and 25mm at S.
Made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish, it suits fencing, barriers, gates, retaining and similar restraint work. To be clear, this chain is not suitable for lifting, so keep a rated grade chain on hand for any load that leaves the ground. The proof coil name refers to the consistency of the links through a length, which is what makes it run smoothly and sit predictably in use.
