About this product
The Beaver Self Colour Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 16mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, site or workshop. It is the heaviest end of the regular link range, with 15.8mm material thickness, a 56mm inside length and 60mm across the link. Made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish. The term proof coil refers to the consistency of the links through any given length.
Use it for restraint, barrier work, towing anchor points, gates and general holding jobs. It is not suitable for lifting, so keep it well away from any crane or hoist work and use a rated grade chain instead. At 20m per 100kg it is a solid, weighty chain to handle, so plan your handling accordingly. Self colour steel will surface rust once it is out in the weather, so a wipe of oil helps if it is stored outdoors.
