About this product
The Beaver Self Colour Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 13mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, the site or the truck. It is made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish, and at 13mm nominal size it is the heavier end of the regular link range. Link geometry runs 46mm on F and 50mm on R, with a 13mm material section.
The "proof coil" name refers to the consistent link count through any given length, which keeps the chain running true through a fairleader or over a dog. Weight works out at 29m/100kg, so it is noticeably heavier to handle than the smaller sizes. Use it for securing, fencing, barriers and general restraint duties. It is not suitable for lifting, so keep a rated grade chain on hand for any load that leaves the ground.
