About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Regular Link in 8mm self colour is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose jobs around the yard, the site or the workshop. It is not suitable for any lifting purposes. Made from low carbon steel, the 8mm size sits in the middle of the range and gives you a decent balance of strength and handling weight, with roughly 39m per 50kg.
Link dimensions on this size are 29.2mm F, 35.8mm R and 7.6mm S, so it runs neatly through most standard fittings and guides. The term proof coil refers to the consistent number of links across any one length, which keeps measuring and cutting predictable. Self colour means bare steel with no protective coating, so keep it dry or oiled if it is going to live outdoors. Common uses are fencing, gates, restraint, barriers and general tie-down work.
