About this product
The Beaver Self Colour Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 8mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, site or workshop. It is made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish, so it is not for lifting. Use it for restraint, fencing, gates, barriers and jobs where a load rating is not part of the equation.
At 8mm nominal size it sits in the middle of the range, with a 7.6mm material thickness, 29.2mm F dimension and 35.8mm R dimension. It runs 90m/100kg, so it is heavier and stronger feeling in the hand than the smaller sizes without being awkward to handle. The term proof coil refers to the consistent links through any one length. Keep it out of wet or corrosive conditions, as a self colour finish offers no coating protection.
