About this product
The Beaver Self Colour Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 6mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, site or workshop. It is made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish. The 6mm bar diameter is one of the lighter sizes in the range, with a 24mm inside link length and 27mm outside length, and it runs about 140m per 100kg. That makes it easy to handle and feed by hand where a heavier link would be overkill.
Use it for tasks like fencing, gates, barriers, restraint and load securing where no rated chain is required. It must not be used for lifting. "Proof coil" refers to the consistent link count in a given length, so the chain runs true through sprockets, guides and eyes. The self colour finish carries no coating, so keep it dry and give it a wipe of oil if it is going to live outdoors.
