About this product
The Beaver Proof Coil Chain General Link in 5mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, ute or site. It is made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish, and the 5mm nominal size is the lighter end of the range, with 4.7mm material, an 18mm inside link length and a 25mm outside width.
Proof coil refers to the consistent link count through any given length, which keeps the chain running evenly through a fairlead or over a sprocket. This chain is not rated and must not be used for lifting. Use it for fencing, gates, light restraint, barriers and general tie back jobs. If you need to pick a load, step up to a graded lifting chain instead.
