About this product
The Beaver Self Colour Proof Coil Chain - Regular Link 5mm is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, ute or site. It is made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish, and it is not suitable for lifting. The 5mm nominal size is the lightest handling option in the regular link range, with a 4.7mm material thickness, 18mm inside link length and 25mm inside width.
At 246m per 100kg, this size gives you plenty of length for not much weight, which makes it easy to run out by hand. Use it for gates, fencing, tie backs, light restraint and similar odd jobs. The term proof coil simply refers to the consistent link count through a length, so the chain feeds and sits predictably. If the job involves a load overhead, reach for a rated lifting chain instead.
