About this product
Beaver Proof Coil Chain Regular Link in 4mm self colour is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose jobs around the yard, site or workshop. It is made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish, so there is no coating to hide the link surface. The 4mm nominal size runs a 3.9mm material thickness, with a 15.6mm link length and 20mm across the link, making it the lighter end of the regular link range.
This chain is not suitable for lifting, slinging or any overhead work. Use it for fencing, gates, light restraint, hanging signs and similar tasks where load rating is not a factor. The "proof coil" name refers to the consistent link count through the length, which keeps the chain running true through a shackle or over a sprocket. Self colour will surface rust outdoors, so keep it dry or give it a wipe of oil.
