About this product
The 4mm Beaver Proof Coil Chain General Link is a non-rated commercial chain for general purpose work around the yard, the shed or the site. It is the lightest size in the range, made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish. Material diameter measures 3.9mm, with a link length of 15.6mm and a 20mm pitch across the regular link form.
Proof coil refers to the consistent link count through any given length, which keeps the chain running true over sprockets, through guides and around fixed points. Handy for fencing, gates, light restraint and tie back jobs where you need chain but not a rated sling. It is not suitable for lifting. If the job involves a load overhead, step up to a properly rated grade of lifting chain instead.
