About this product
The Beaver Proof Coil Chain General Link in 3mm is a light general purpose chain for restraint, fencing, gate work and other non-lifting jobs around the yard or site. It is the finest size in the range, with a 3mm wire diameter, 13.1mm link length and 16.6mm outside width, so it runs through small gaps and hardware that heavier chain will not fit.
Made from low carbon steel with a self colour finish, this is a non-rated chain. It carries no working load limit and is not suitable for lifting. The proof coil description refers to the consistent link count through any given length, which keeps the chain running evenly over a sprocket or through a guide. If the job involves suspending or lifting a load, step up to a properly rated grade lifting chain instead.
